About Mustang Metal Custom Creations

Howdy and welcome to Mustang Metal CustomCreations. I'm Kris and I design, weld, fabricate, build, style and create anything you can dream up. I started welding when I lost my job as a chef when it got all Covidy in 2018. That was when I took two months of unemployment money and went back to school to fulfill my dream of becoming a welder like my grandfather. Two weeks after i started school that got shut down because it got even more covidy. I was however fortunate enough to be granted an internship at an amazing company which was MetalWorks. They hired me the first day of my internship and i was a production worker/welder/fabricator for about two years. They taught me everything i know about Metalworking and i couldn't be more grateful. After a major change due to wildfires and family tragedies I moved to Oregon with my father and Mustang Metal Custom Creations was born. I knew I wanted to create functional decor and I wanted to use upcycled materials so I started collecting any metal i could get my hands on, from old car hoods to silverware and everything in between including the proverbial kitchen sink. If you want a liquor cabinet made from a 1941 Ford car hood I can create it! Do you have a log cabin and want hunting decor, how about a full bathroom set made from deer and elk antlers? Bar stools made from vintage horse saddles, no problem. All I need is an idea of your style or theme for your space and I can create a beautiful piece that will be as unique as you are.
